Home Activities
Welcome to our home activities section. We’d like to thank all parents and carers who are supporting us to reduce our carbon footprint by accessing their children’s Homework online. Very often there is no need to print a copy of the homework, so by simply viewing an electronic copy you are doing your bit to protect the rainforests for your children and their children!
Please download this week’s homework by clicking the relevant link below:
If you encounter problems doing so please download the Adobe Reader by clicking the link and following the on-screen instructions.

Videos
We are so lucky to have such wonderful learning experiences and opportunities in our school. We hope you enjoy sharing some of them with us!
Alice in Wonderland
Llangrannog
Year 5 children had the opportunity to experience lots of different activities in a Welsh language environment. Here are the best bits!
Afan Gymnastics Centre
Here we are enjoying ourselves at Afan gymnastics centre. It has really helped us to develop our skills.
The Canal immersion week
We have been using the ‘Talk Write’ approach by Pie Corbett to teach literacy. The following video shows some of the immersion week experiences the children had.
St Fagans
We recently visited St Fagans to learn about Victorian life. We spent time in the Victorian school and learnt about life in a Victorian mill.
Alfred Russel Wallace
Our history topic this term is to investigate the lives of people from our locality in the nineteenth century. One important visitor to Neath during this period was the famous biologist Alfred Russel Wallace. In October we watched a performance about his life and then visited the museum to learn more about his work. In the video you will be able to see some of the interesting learning experiences the children had.
The Tunnel Immersion week
In the following video you will see some of the interesting learning experiences that helped the children learn the story.

Well done to these children in Year 5 and 6. We have a community link with Morgan Sindall who are renovating the Gwyn Hall. Everyone painted pictures designed to go on the hoardings while the building work is going on. These are the nine winning entries so watch out for them appearing on the white boards very soon.
